The Neighbor's Dog

She brought the neigh-
bor's dog to our front
door. She found it had
escaped. I hardly rec-
ognized the pooch in
the arms of this go-
od Samaritan.

Different. A dog behind a fence looks different than a dog in a woman's arms.

I have never seen my neighbor. The dog was in the arms of a beautiful woman who was driving by and saw this dog about a block away. The dog had a tag with our neighbor's address. The woman came to my house because either the neighbors weren't home, or because our numbers are hard to see.
