Is Forced Health Care Constitutional?

This is certainly a slippery slope. We now mandate education and social security. One could ask, is health care just another thing that is good for us, and therefore everyone needs to do it? Or, might education and social security be the new villains, with the Supreme Court deciding that no service/product/insurance can be mandated according to the Constitution. Time will tell.

If your scenario comes to pass, we will live in a harsher, more divided nation than ever before. Heaven forfend! H.

Even if health care is required I'm not sure many will be able to afford it. So then what? We build more jails?

The divided nation of haves/have nots is disturbing. One solution is to take from the haves and give to the have nots. The other is to help the have nots become more productive through education.

It seems if the necessities of life are provided for all there will be little incentive for people to improve themselves.
