I noticed
meditating yesterday
the elasticity
of time,
how one moment
lingers around
for a seemingly
eon,
while another
whizzes by like
a hummingbird.
We say, "see
you in an hour,"
yet, depending
on circumstances,
might be
a second or eternity.
